The Rite of Spring

Ah Spring is upon us once again. Snow is receding the days are getting longer and we cannot mistake the smell of rotting grass and pet dung.  Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring was a musical composition and it had something to do with the mystery and great surge of the creative power of Spring - I just liked the term for this weeks post which includes my sketches of an Easter bunny, a jester and one of my old time favourite characters Joe Graffiti.

3 female studies

It's not always easy to come up with captions for ever drawing I post, and this week's sketches are no exception. The first two are of female students that were studying in college library, and the third was taken from a digital photo I came across on deviant art. They are simply three sketches I've done over the last week or so that I felt worthy of posting.
