Steampunk Girl

Pintrest is a great place to find reference material and for exploring neat and new things. I've recently discovered Steampunk especially as it relates to the artist styles of fashion clothing. This sketch is on the conservative side of what some people have designed and worn.

I was on DeviantART the other night. I use it as a resource tool for finding nude photos of the human form for sketching and drawing purposes. This particular night I was looking for pictures of older more mature women, and came across a Deviant by the name of AlexandraB24. This classy, and sophisticated woman, who, even though in her 50's, was ever more beautiful by the confidence she seemed to exude with regards to her own body.

Troll Elder

A quick sketch done this morning that I liked and figured I would post right away rather then waiting until my usual Sunday post, which really hasn't been regular of late. Anyway, I was looking at some creepy looking characters and figured why not try one myself. This was done entirely off to top of my head. I wasn't sure what I was going for at the time I sketched it, but upon completion, it looked somewhat like a troll character. At least to me.

So when I find myself looking for something to sketch and cannot come up with much, I always resort to drawing the ladies. That's it.
