Medieval Warrior Sketch

I've been working on a medieval character this week and was hoping to have the digital colour piece ready for posting by Sunday, but it's just not at the point where I can say I'm finished with it. Hopefully in the next couple of days I can post the finished piece - until then, here is the working rough.

Sketches from this past week ending January 15th

This sketch out of Time magazine was, what I believe, of a Korean General. 

The sketch on left was also out of Time magazine while the sketch on the right was from a picture on my computer of my son.

This life sketch depicted a student sitting alone in the college student lounge. He was not playing on any devise or reading a book, just sitting there looking around. Sometimes he would turn his head to the left almost as to look to see who was behind him. Maybe he even knew I was there sketching away.

Sketches from last week

This sketch of a Relay runner was taken out of Time magazine. 

The sketch on left was from another morning sketch session in the college library. The one on the right was of a hockey parent looking out of his window on a bus heading back from a hockey tournament in Eden Prairie MN.
